Brockman Resources (BRM) formerly Yilgarn Mining Limited (YML), is a gold and nickel exploration company operating in the Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia. The company focuses its operations on three principal activities: gold-mining operations through the Rose Dam project near Kalgoorlie, WA; nickel sulphide and Ni-Co laterite exploration at various prospects; and iron ore exploration in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral tenements in Australia.

Wah Nam Offers $196m For Full Brockman Takeover


Hong Kong investment company Wah Nam International Holdings (WNI) has offered A$196 million to buy the remaining shares of the Pilbara iron ore aspirant Brockman Resources (BRM) it does not own. WNI won the bid in June to take a hold of 55 per cent of Brockman, and now makes a move for a full takeover.

Brockman Resources (ASX:BRM) is losing to a takeover from Wah Nam, who has managed to take hold of more than 40 percent of the company's interests. The Hong Kong listed limousine company plans to merge Brockman and its rival FerrAus, if both companies are successfully acquired.
