Conquest Mining (CQT) is an exploration company primarily searching for gold and base metals, with tenements in Australia. Key projects are located at Mt Carlton (gold-silver-copper) and the Collinsville gold/copper project in Northern Queensland. In FY08, CQT had 18 tenements in the Central North Queensland area, of which 14 are granted and four are under application. Exploration companies aim to discover and delineate occurrences of metals and minerals that can be economically mined and extracted.
