Jupiter Energy (JPR) formerly known as Westcoast Mining Limited (WML), is an oil and gas exploration company. JPR, through its 100% owned subsidiary Jupiter Energy (Victoria) Pty Ltd, has an agreement with Lakes Oil NL to acquire a 50% interest in PEP 163 located in the Otway basin, Victoria.
On 27 May 2005, the shareholders of Westcoast Mining Limited agreed to change the name of the company to Jupiter Energy Limited to reflect the company's new interests. The company listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) on 12 November 2003.
