Macquarie Interested in Fairfax Radio Sale


Macquarie Radio Network (ASX:MRN) expresses interest in buying Fairfax radio assets. Fairfax media has decided to sell its radio division after receiving positive feedback from prospective buyers.

Macquarie requested details from Fairfax on the sale of its metropolitan and regional radio stations. "Upon receiving those details, MRN will determine whether it will submit an expression of interest in purchasing some or all of the assets," Macquarie Radio said.
