S&P/ASX 50 Index comprises of the 50 largest stocks by market capitalisation in Australia, emphasising liquidity and investability. The weighting method is "float-adjusted market-cap weighted" and is rebalanced quarterly in March, June, September and December based on previous 6 months of data.
