SGP
Stockland (SGP) is a property investment, development and management group engaged in the development and marketing of land, construction and marketing of townhouses, construction of commercial buildings, hotel management, investment in commercial properties, management of trusts as well as property leasing and management. SGP was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on the 19th of February 1987. Its average annual revenue reaches approximately $609 million out of its issued capital of approximately $1 billion.
Property management and developer, Stockland (ASX:SGP) have released their half year results to the Australian stock market.
- $147.1 million loss in the six months to December 31 (1H). For the same corresponding period in 2011 the company had a profit of $307.6 million.
- Stockland revenue was $791.9 million from $936 million in the prior corresponding period.
There are no floats but there are a couple of ex-dividends scheduled for today and there are quite a number of companies which are holding their Annual General Meeting on October 25, 2011.

Share registry services provider Computershare Ltd's (ASX:CPU) full year profit fell by 10.4 percent while net profit dropped to $264.09 million for the 12 months to June 30 from $294.76 million last year. Revenue was flat from the previous year at $1.604 billion. ComputerShare declared final dividend of 14 cents per share, 60 per cent franked, unchanged from last year.

Stockland (ASX:SGP) confirms plans of selling $200 million worth of its assets. The sale will be 20 percent of its portfolio, with negotiations already being made with interested buyers.
The sale is in line with Stockland’s “3-R Strategy”, which involves investments in retail, retirement and residential properties as the company sells smaller assets in its portfolio. Stockland owns 15 industrial properties in Australia.

Property group, Stockland Corporation (ASX:SGP), has said that it is on track to achieve seven per cent earnings per share growth in 2010/11 and the property group's residential communities unit achieved record first quarter sales at its investor day presentation in Sydney on Tuesday.
Australian property manager and diversified property group, Stockland (ASX:SGP) is weighing up its options on its 14.9 percent stake on FKP Property Group (ASX:FKP). However, FKP's largest investor is Mulpha Australia. One rumour is that the company may consider "an asset-for-equity swap" for FKP's retirement assets.
