In 2008 a merger with TPG Holdings Limited joined the brands of TPG and Soul to form a group with annual revenue approaching $500m and strong profits. In March 2010, TPG acquired Pipe Networks, providing TPG with access to an extensive Australian fibre optic network including the wholly owned Pipe Pacific Cable (PPC-1) link between Sydney and Guam with onwards connectivity to the USA and Japan. With sustained growth the company has become a dynamic and integrated force providing innovative voice, internet and data solutions through one of the largest networks in Australia. The company's network infrastructure has significant investment being built from a broadcast television base, and today includes fixed line, fibre and wireless services connecting voice customers with call collection areas throughout Australia and data and internet customers with more than 350 exchange areas.
TPG Network has been delivering corporate and government enterprises with Data Networking solutions throughout Australia and internationally since 1992. During this time they have designed and implemented data networks for domestic and international defence forces, a significant public rail network and a large number of small to medium enterprises in Australia.
One of their major strengths has been their innovative approach to the convergence of data, videoconferencing and voice on the one physical network infrastructure for enterprises since 1992. This provides enterprises the opportunity to reduce their overall costs while improving productivity by more effectively using their investment in their data network infrastructure.
TPG offers a variety of services to enterprises from inexpensive ADSL technologies, affordable premium grade SHDSL up to the more expensive premium grade carrier class services offering the highest availability and throughput available. The full range of speeds are offered from 64Kbps right through to gigabit Ethernet.
Proactive management is available and this provides customers with the peace of mind that their services will be managed and maintained without the need for their own specialist staff.
TPG offers a range of firewalls for customers regardless of size or budget. Virus scanning for harmful viruses, content filtering to reduce staff access to non work related sites, logging/monitoring of traffic to assist with planning and management, intrusion detection, server hosting and VPN access are just some of the other services that TPG Network offer.
