Treasury Group (TRG) extends funds management services to small to medium sized asset management businesses that include institutions, master funds and wraps, retail investors and private clients. TRG's specialty is in assessing the fund management companies in which it will make investments. The Company sources its revenue from asset management operations. TRG was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on September 25, 1987.
Treasury Group Investment Services Ltd, a subsidiary of TRG manages an investment business, Premium Investors Ltd on behalf of TRG. TRG through its another subsidiary, Investors Mutual Ltd is providing funds management services to both institutional and retail investors. Its Global Value Investors Ltd subsidiary acts as a fund manager. Treasury Asia Asset Management Ltd and RARE Infrastructure Ltd both provide boutique asset management services with specialisation in the Asia Pacific Region and in listed international infrastructure assets respectively. TRG holds a convertible note that allows it to convert note into 35 percent holdings in cannae Capital Partners Ltd. The focus of Treasury Group is on providing assistance to talented funds managers in establishing their long term career goals as well as aligning the customer’s interests with their fund managers.
Treasury Group History
In 2000, P T H Group Ltd was renamed to Treasury Group to better represent its new investment management strategy. In 2001, the Company acquired part of Investors Mutual. During 2004, Treasury Group created Premium Investors Limited, a Listed Investment Company.
