Aura Energy (AEE) is a mining and mineral exploration Company. Aura was incorporated to acquire and explore uranium deposits located in Western Australia. The Company is mainly searching for uranium in Australia and in other regions field where it can carry out its operations. Aura Energy listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on May 30, 2006. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Aura had a portfolio of 33 exploration licenses and applications having potential for uranium ore deposits. These licenses and applications expand over an area of round about 5986 square kilometers.
Paladin Energy (PDN) is a mineral exploration company principally engaged in the acquisition and development of uranium projects in Africa and Australia, as well as evaluation and acquisition opportunities all over the world. The company has listings on the Australian Stock Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Namibian Stock Exchange. On ASX it was listed on 29 March, 1994.
Alara Uranium (AUQ) is a mineral exploration and development company engaged in the acquisition of tenements that are prospective for uranium. AUQ has its projects in Peru, the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Alara Uranium was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on May 24, 2007. AUQ Pampacolca Project Applications are located approximately 7 to 12 kilometers south of the town of Pampacolca.
Acclaim Exploration (AEX) is involved in mineral exploration. AEX was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 16 August, 1984. Their Wingella project has been sold to Metals X with Acclaim now a majority shareholder in MLX. AEX is primarily focused on the Dalton Uranium and Gold Project in South Africa whiere proposed drilling targets have been identified. The Denny Dalton Project is located approximately 70 km south south-west of the town of Vryheid in the north of the province of KwaZulu-Natal , Republic of South Africa.
A1 Minerals (AAM) is primarily involved in mineral exploration in Western Australia (WA). This company is a junior gold explorer which listed on the Australian stock exchange on 5 December, 2003. Their inital listing focused on exploring and developing the BrightStar gold mine, which is located in the Eastern Gold Fields, near Laverton in WA. The company also have potential uranium prospects in the Narnoo Exploration Project which it is a part of a joint venture with Oklo Uranium Ltd.
The uranium sector and Energy Resources of Australia (ERA). Australian sharemarket analyst, Macquarie Research Equities gives ERA an Outperform rating with a suggested upside of up to 17 percent per share.
