Petratherm (PTR) is an exploration company searching for geothermal energy. The company's geothermal exploration projects lie within the South Australian Heat Flow Anomaly. Through a partnership with the University of Adelaide, Petratherm has developed methods to locate potential hot rock reserves in a cost effective manner.
Pacific Energy (PEA) is a small company formed for investment in infrastructure and mineral projects in either operation or development. PEA holds interests in a number of companies with projects in Australia, Asia and North America. The company listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) on 2 April 1987 as Arboyne NL (ARB). It changed its name to Pacific Nickel Limited (PNK) in 1997 and then changed its name to Pacific Energy Limited (PEA) in 1998.
KUTh Energy (KEN) is a renewable energy company that has two contiguous Special Exploration Licences, covering an area of over 14,000sqkm in TAS, which is most of eastern TAS. KEN is exploring for buried extensions of known hot granites that are suitable to support production of geothermal power. KEN is also a preferred tenderer for two geothermal permits in QLD, near Weipa on Cape York, and 300km southwest of Cairns. The portfolio will be expanded to provide degrees of freedom and perhaps earlier cash flow.
Jackgreen (JGL) is a licensed electricity retailer and also holds licences for gas retailing in NSW and SA. It has no affiliation with an electricity distribution business. JGL’s target markets are residential customers, and small to medium enterprises. The company offers preset percentages of Green power for use for an additional rate per unit of electricity.
Hot Rock (HRL) in an Australian geothermal energy company which aims to identify, appraise and develop low-emission and commercially sustainable geothermal energy projects in Australia and internationally. It was listed on ASX on 14 November, 2007. The company holds four granted geothermal energy tenements in the Otway Basin, Victoria and several projects in Europe, Asia and the USA.
Ethane Pipeline Income Fund (EPX) is a pipeline infrastructure fund. The underlying core asset is the 1,375km high pressure ethane pipeline, which was purpose built to transport ethane from the gas processing facility in Moomba in South Australia to Sydney, NSW. Ethane is supplied to Qenos, Australia's sole producer of polyethylene. Qenos holds over 50% market share of the Australian polyethylene market. EPX is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
Greenearth Energy (GER) is an Australian Geothermal energy company that aims to explore for and develop geothermal resources in Australia, Indonesia, and in due course the wider Pacific Rim. Geothermal energy is being increasingly recognised as having the potential to deliver, clean, reliable and renewable energy that is capable of a wide range of uses with very low or no greenhouse gas emissions.
