Villa World Group (VLW, formerly GEO Property Group) is a residential property developer. The Group comprises Villa World Limited (Company) and Villa World Trust (Trust). The Company has two major residential development brands: Villa World Homes and GEO Developments. The direct property investments of the group are held in the Villa World Trust. The Trust owns one property that is expected to be sold in 2012. Villa World Group comprises Villa World Limited (Company) and Villa World Trust (Trust). The Group is listed on the ASX (Code:VLW) and trades as a stapled security. Villa World Homes is significantly different from its major competitors in that we plan and deliver fully constructed, fully landscaped homes, ready to live in. Master planned communities where the Group solely develops and sells the residential land lots, both to builders and consumers, are marketed under the GEO Developments brand in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. The Company's primary target market is the affordable middle market, predominantly owner occupier families within each project’s location. Villa World Trust (Trust) currently holds one remaining non-residential property that is expected to be sold in the 2012 calendar year. In a strategic move to return to its core business roots, the Group's current strategy is to grow the core residential communities development business within Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The active operations of the Group such as property development and management are undertaken by the Company. The Company’s core residential development business comprises house and land developments, residential land developments and integrated housing developments. Under its brands Villa World Homes and GEO Developments, the Company is one of Australia’s largest developers of residential homes and residential land.
