Village Roadshow (VRL) is a global entertainment and media company principally focused on operating theme parks, film distribution, cinema, radio and film Production and music. VRL is the owner and operator of Theme Parks on Queensland's Gold Coast, including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet'n'Wild Water World and Australian Outback Spectacular, along with Sea World Resort and Warner Roadshow Studios. The Company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 26 February, 1987 and it is headquartered in Melbourne.

Cinema distributor and theme park owner Village Roadshow (ASX:VRL) have announced its half year financial results to shareholders in the Australian stock market.

  • Village Roadshow Net Profit $33.5 million, up 18.4 percent
  • VRL Revenue was $480 million, from $470 million.
  • EPS of 21.8 cents, up from 18.7 cents
  • Village Roadshow owns 3 Gold Coast theme parks including Warner Bros Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild.

Theme park and cinema operator, Village Roadshow (ASX:VRL) have released their full year financial results for FY 2012 to the ASX stockmarket.

  • Village Roadshow net profit $33.8 million, falling from $185.5 million from last year.
  • EPS (Earnings Per Share) up to 34.4 cents per share up fromon 16 cps.
  • VRL EBITDA $154.7 million, up from $140.5 million.
