Wah Nam International Holdings (WNI) is an investment holding company, incorporated in Bermuda and listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Stock Code 159) since 2002. Wah Nam is officially admitted to the Australian Securities Exchange (the "ASX") on 7 Jan 2011 and the commencement of trade started on 11 Jan 2011.
Since its establishment, Wah Nam has been involved in various business activities. With its acquisition of the Damajianshan Mine in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”) in 2008, Wah Nam refocused itself as a mining resources company. Currently Wah Nam has 3 major business lines and investments.
Wah Nam through its 90% owned Luchun Xingtai Mining Company Limited ("Luchun Xingtai") engages in the exploitation, processing and sale of copper ore concentrate. It owns 100% of the Damajianshan Mine. Wah Nam will continue to develop Damajianshan mine through further exploration and production plan with a view to increasing the Wah Nam's copper production and revenue. The Damajianshan Mine is located in Qimaba Township, Luchun County of Yunnan Province in the PRC. It is near the border between the PRC and Vietnam: (Figure 2). In the 3.67 square kilometres covered by the mining right there are JORC Ore Reserves of over 7.8 million tonnes of ore with an average Cu grade of 1.46% and JORC resources of over 15.5 million tonnes of ore with an average Cu grade of 1.68%.
The mine operation has the potential to produce over 429,000 tonnes per annum for more than 18 years. The mine site is easily accessible by road. The road conditions may vary depending on the weather. After beneficiation, copper concentrate is trucked to customers.
Wah Nam also operates a limousine rental and airport shuttle bus business through its wholly owned subsidiary, Perryville Group Limited. This business segment provides high end limousine rental services in Hong Kong and the PRC (including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing) and airport shuttle bus services in Hong Kong.
