Everything about ASX games.

A great way to practice share trading is through simulation and games. You get to take investment techniques and strategies for a test drive with zero risk. Here are some sites which offer free share trading simulations:

Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) Sharemarket Games. According to the ASX website, sharemarket games are fun and interactive. You get to test the waters with a hypothetical $50,000 as capital, and you can create your own share portfolio. Gameplay is to buy and sell shares to increase your portfolio value within a set time period.

Sharemarket games are free to play and you get the chance to win prizes. One downside is that the games are not available 24/7, and you will need to register to play. Game 2 2011 registration dates are: 07 to 27 July and 21 July to 17 August. Trading starts 28 July to 9 November and 18 August to 26 October. To sign up for free, click on Player Access on the ASX website.

StockWatch Share Trading Game. Play share market simulation games at StockWatch.com.au, which mimics the ASX. You get to buy and sell stocks with near-real time market data. You can also view your trade history and track profits and losses. Registration on their website is required to be able to play.

Investopedia Stock Simulator. This is not ASX-based, but you can still test you trading skills for free and without risk. You get to connect with virtual investors worldwide in a 'realistic' way.
