Whinnen Resources (WWW) has four exploration projects all located in Western Australia. Diggers Rest, Beaumont, Lake Perks and Mount Baring are four exploration license applications located in the southeast region of Western Australia. The Murderers Pool project is situated 110 kilometers northwest of Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The East Scadden project is located 60 kilometers north east of Esperance. The Diggers rest project is located 38 kilometers north east of Esperance. Whinnen Resources (WWW) is a Perth-based company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX - Australia's stock market) on 19 April, 2007.
Hinkler Well (uranium) is located approximately 50 kilometres northeast of the Yeelirie Uranium deposit in the Eastern Goldfields. The primary focus at Hinkler Well is the calcrete-rich Abercrombie creek which is located down stream of the Dawson Well Deposit (U3O8 Ltd) and upstream of Toro Energy's Centipede and Abercrombie Deposits.
Diggers Rest, Beaumont, Lake Perks and Mount Baring are four exploration licence applications located in the southeast region of WA. They contain lignite with paleo-channels that were formed in the Eocene epoch 35 million years ago. Bolgart is an exploration licence that is prospective for base metals, close to Perth.
Hinkler Well Project
The Hinkler Well project is located in the most prospective area in Western Australia and probably the world for calcrete-hosted uranium deposits. The project is situated 24 km southwest of Wiluna in Western Australia - between the Centipede Uranium deposit (7Mt @ 0.63 kg/t U3O8) and the Dawson Well-Hinkler Well uranium prospects.
The project area encompasses a similar geological environment to that of the nearby Yeelirrie deposit (35Mt @ 1.5 kg/t U3O8) and includes some 2 km strike of a uranium-mineralised calcrete-filled palaeo-channel near Abercrombie Creek. It covers an area previously explored for gold and nickel and as such has had little uranium exploration over it.
Murderer's Pool Project
The Murderers Pool project is situated 110 km northwest of Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This project is viewed as being prospective for unconformity related uranium mineralisation. Uranium mineralisation has been identified within the basal sandstone member of a sedimentary sequence unconformably overlying Lower Proterozoic metamorphic rocks and along a north-south fault zone. The Project covers some a highly prospective yet largely unexplored, faulted basal sandstone unit.
