The Investment Management segment is structured across five separate units: pinnacle investment management, specialty funds management, private wealth management-funds management and financial planning, next financial and funds management services. The Capital Markets segment services corporate, institutional and private clients and provides research, corporate finance and equity capital markets and stockbroking services.
Wilson Htm Investment Group (WIG) differs from other domestic wealth managers in the breadth of its operations, which, in addition to funds management, include financial planning, equities research, stockbroking and a capital markets group. The capital markets group enables WIG to offer its Private Wealth clients preferential access to IPOs and proprietary research to support their advisor network. WIG has expertise in providing corporate finance advice and research in relation to mid-market companies.
Wilson HTM Investment Group has an extensive client base comprising mid-market corporations, which are serviced by its Capital Markets division, and high net worth individuals, who are managed by its advisor network in the Investment Management division. Wealth Management competitors include other diversified wealth managers such as AMP and IOOF. WIG also competes with mid-tier and large investment banks for stockbroking and capital market mandates.
