Pit Bull

Welcome to the world of Martin 'Buzzy' Schwartz, Champion Trader - the man whose nerves of steel and killer instinct in the canyons of Wall Street earned him the well-deserved name 'Pit Bull.'

Pit Bull: Lessons from Wall Street's Champion Day Trader is the true story of how Schwartz became the best of the best, of the people and places he discovered along the way, and of the trader's tricks and techniques he used to make his millions.

Positive Review of Book

This high rolling story was great fun. It's refreshing to hear a tape actually read by the author - it makes the story so much more alive. I found myself sitting in my car for a few extra minutes whenever I got to where I was going just so I could find out what happened next. I bought the abridged version of the audio tape but now wish I bought the longer tapes. Highly recommended if you enjoy trading stories.

Negative Review of Book

The title is deceiving. The book reveals little to the reader about how to be a better trader. It's a catchy title, but the real purpose of the book was to satisfy the immature ego of this admittedly great trader.

For someone who had $ as his single target, he protests and cries aligator tears when the investors in his hedge fund pulled out because they were concerned about the safety of THEIR money. "They abandoned me"... like we're supposed to have sympathy on him because an illness prevented him from achieving his fantasy of being "the biggest and the best". He compares himself with George Soros! I hated this book because I couldn't get past my revulsion of the self-aggrandizing author.
