Prophecy International Holdings (PRO) designs, develops and markets computer software applications and services aimed at the worldwide corporate marketplace. The company's technology allows corporations to implement improvements in the development of customer service and business systems.
Prophecy International was first opened in 1980. Prophecy International has offices in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. The international headquarters and global software development centre is at Prophecy House in Adelaide, Australia. Prophecy was first listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) in 1998.
Prophecy International's differentiating factor is its core product, basis2. basis2 is a software suite of billing and customer information solutions. It aims to improve operational efficiencies, enhance customer acquisition and retention, reduce the costs of serving customers and adapt to a changing business environment. The product is distributed through a network of business partners throughout the world.
Prophecy International's customers include UK transport company National Express; US power company Missouri River Energy Services; the state of Colorado; South Australian Government agencies Revenue SA and DWLBC; Sensis; Belize Telecommunications; and the Central Bank of Barbados. Its competitors include many other developers of software for businesses, including Microsoft.
Its subsidiaries include Prophecy Americas Inc, Prophecy Europe Ltd and Prophecy Asia Pacific Malaysia (M) (SDN BHD). Effective January 11, 2010, the Company announced that it has acquired Promadis Pty Ltd., a software company.
