Coffey International (COF) is a specialist provider of engineering, scientific and project management services. COF caters these services to earth sciences, water and natural resources sectors within Australia and worldwide. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 18th January, 1990. Today Coffey International comprises a number of specialist companies operating in social and physical infrastructures. COF operations are geographically diversified into around 60 countries throughout the world and it is included among the top 300 ASX listed companies. COF operates through three divisions comprising the Consulting Business, the International Development Business and the Project Management business. The Consulting Business includes Coffey Geotechnics, Webber and Associates, Shaheen and Peaker, CTL, Coffey Environments, Coffey Natural Systems, Coffey Mining, Geoexplore, Peron Group (including Stratcorp Consulting) and Asia Pacific Rail including businesses throughout Australia and around the globe. The International Development Business includes Coffey International Development, Specialist Training Australia and Management Services International within and outside Australia. Its Project Management business includes Coffey Projects, John Wertheimer Consultants, Teal Management Services, including businesses within Australia and worldwide. On January 8, 2008, Coffey Projects completed the takeover of Teal Management Services Pty Ltd. Coffey Canada Inc. and Coffey International Limited completed the acquisition of Shaheen and Peaker Group on April 1, 2008.
Coffey International History
COF commenced its business operations as a specialist scientific and engineering consulting partnership. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1990. After listing, COF also diversified into a number of different fields. In 2004, it completed the acquisition of IT Environment. COF acquired the businesses of Specialist Training Australia and BFP Consultants in 2005.
