You can access historical prices from Yahoo Finance. Enter the ASX code followed by .ax (eg - bhp.ax). Then select "Historical Prices" (left side of page). Then select period and time span (day, week, month).

Or you can choose to pay for premium data at about $110 from http://www.adest.com.au and get a cd auto corrected (easiest, most reliable) for data feeds.

Where can I find free ASX data feeds for metastock and other charting software? The majority of data feeds out there are subscription based with a monthly price.

You can try DataBull which can be quick, easy and cost effective. Once the databases with the symbols you want are setup, you can set the charting software to download the file everyday to import the ASX data feed.

This is the Australian Trading Calendar which documents the public holidays which the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX – also known as the Australian stockmarket/sharemarket) is closed for trade. All other business days which aren’t noted here are usually a trading day and the exchange is open for trading.
