An opportunity has arisen for a highly talented Business Analyst at NASDAQ OMX | SMARTS to be responsible for providing detailed documentation and day to day client services to SMARTS Integrity business users. This role is also responsible for managing and supporting the overall solutions that SMARTS Integrity products offer their global clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Requirement analysis, solution design, documentation and review
• Writing functional specification, testing documents, training documents and other documents as required
• Liaison with clients as required both remotely and with on-site visits (e.g. provide user training)
• Quality assurance and monitoring of our products/services to ensure high level of quality
• Continuous accountability and ownership of issues
• Ensure new releases to clients are of high quality and are delivered on time
• Assist the global sales team with pre-sales work
• Provide day to day client support and handle client queries on all aspects of our product
• Product development through identification of industry change and capturing feedback from our clients
• Travel to clients sites as and when required
• Perform any duties deemed appropriate in the such a role
• Willing to learn and become proficient in the SMARTS 4GL language for alert development, ALICE
Required Skills
• Experience in working in development projects and understanding of the full SDLC
• Demonstrated excellent documentation and communication skills
• Experience with Excel macros, VBA or other programming languages
• Ability to read, write and execute test scripts
• Experience with various Project Methodologies
• Good knowledge of financial markets, especially stock markets
• Handle pressured deadlines
• Undergraduate Degree in Business/Finance or related discipline
• A knowledge of a second language would be advantageous
You will also be approachable, use initiative and lateral thinking to solve problems.
You will be able to balance technical and commercial constraints and adaptable to new occasions/situations.
You will be an open and collaborative team player; calm and professional under pressure; reliable and desire to solve problems.
